My dissertation - Know then thyself: Domestic Delegation, Information, Leadership Uncertainty and Foreign Policy Decisions during Crisis Bargaining - examines how delegation of information gathering tasks to foreign policy and defense bureaucracies and advisory systems during a crisis situation, affects the information that an executive has regarding her/ his own state's costs of war, and how this in turn affects the decisions she/ he undertakes. In particular, the project looks at how domestic informational asymmetries brought upon by domestic delegation affects the outcomes of crisis bargains.
